Contact Data: Your mobile phone number, which serves as your unique account ID and enables essential "Turn Arrival" notifications.
Location Data: Real-time geographic location from your device.
Service Preferences: Booking history and preferences to enable priority queuing and personalized "VIP" experiences at your favorite studios.
For Studio Partners: We also securely collect operational data required to provide our management suite, including staff profiles, appointment volumes, and in-app financial tracking, ensuring business owners have complete control over their studio's performance.
We respect your movement and privacy. Your real-time location is utilized exclusively for the following specific purposes:
Studio Discovery: To accurately display the closest participating salons and grooming parlors to your current position.
Arrival Calculation: To provide the studio with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) once you are called, ensuring the chair is ready exactly when you walk in.
Geofencing: To ensure you are within a reasonable distance of a studio before initiating a direct queue entry, preventing fraudulent or accidental long-distance bookings.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to third parties. Your information is shared only when strictly necessary to fulfill your service request:
With Studios: We share your name, booking type, and estimated arrival time with your chosen studio and their staff so they can manage their workflow efficiently.
With Payment Processors: We strictly use PhonePe Business to process all platform and booking fees. Your payment details are encrypted and handled directly by PhonePe; MyTurnQueue does not intercept or store your credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank credentials.
We implement industry-standard security protocols to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All data transfers between the app and our servers are protected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Studio operational data and financial logs are secured with role-based access restrictions to protect business integrity.
You maintain full control over your personal data:
Permissions: You can enable or disable location tracking at any time through your device's operating system settings.
Opt-Out: You can cease all active data collection by uninstalling the MyTurnQueue application.
